Out Patient Department

A hub-and-spoke network of static medical units offering completely free of cost consultations, diagnostics and specialist referrals.

Primary Preventive Healthcare

A hub-and-spoke model of care

Our Out Patient Department connects urban referral centres with rural static units and a telemedicine network, so every patient can reach the right level of care.

Our Urban Static Medical Unit was inaugurated on 25th February 2017 and functions as a referral centre staffed by postgraduate practitioners, serving patients across West Bengal and the North Eastern states. A technology-enabled Medical Records Department keeps every patient's history on hand, supporting a Hub & Spoke model that links this centre to our rural units and mobile camps.

A Rural Static Medical Unit has since been established in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, extending the same model of completely free consultations and diagnostic services closer to where patients live.

Children connected to free surgical services

In partnership with the District Hospital, East Singbhum, since September 2019, our telemedicine sessions have helped connect children with congenital heart conditions to free surgical care in Kolkata. An early pilot of this telemedicine model was also run in the Sundarbans in early 2019.
