Every Day, Not Just In Crisis
Ongoing relief & rehabilitation
Beyond emergency response, several programmes run year-round to support the most vulnerable.
Supply of Pure Drinking Water
Almost 5,000 litres of water is supplied every day to rural communities, covering South 24 Parganas through block-wise distribution.
Mobile Drinking Water in Summers
Around 1,000 beneficiaries receive packaged drinking water daily across streets and suburbs of Kolkata during the summer months.
Winter Blanket Programme
Blankets and homemade cakes are distributed to homeless individuals every year on the 25th of December.
Sanitation & Elderly Support
Sanitation initiatives address parasitic disease prevention, alongside monthly medicine and ration support for elderly people without family support, and community feeding during calamities and poor harvests.
