Every individual can play a role in building a healthier, more self-reliant rural India.
Why It Matters
An endeavour that needs many hands
Sri Sathya Sai Aarogya Vahini is an endeavour to reach out to the impoverished and underprivileged souls of West Bengal and offer them nutritious food, quality healthcare — especially for women and children — and awareness about the importance of good health and hygiene. Through its Hospital-on-Wheels programme, the trust has impacted over 67,000 people, working alongside volunteers from diverse professional backgrounds. There are many ways to be part of this mission.
